Can you be trusted with Secrets
I know what a title for a blog, but just come along with me on this journey as I continue to type. As an Educator I am blessed to work with children that come from all over the world. There is this one particular child each morning, who waits for me to enter the cafeteria just to give me a hug and tell me " I have to go potty". Of course there are other teachers standing around but the child will sit and wait until I come around the corner. I thought to myself can't this child ask someone else sometimes to take them to the potty, why me all the time, this child is not even one of my students, but it didn't matter to them. I was the help this child needed and was looking for.
One morning God begin to speak to me while I took the child to the potty. He reminded me my ministry is to restore leaders and the foundations of leadership. God said "Lysondra never think any assignment I place you on is a waste of time or unimportant. God said, I'm showing you that you can be trusted with the secrets of leaders behind closed doors when exposure happens, depression happens, suicidal thoughts occur. It could be the insides of a leader are in such disarray and they have no one that will escort them behind close doors to help clean up their mess. God told me there are many leaders that want to let it all out , but they have no one to trust with their secrets, their pain, their embarrassments, their failures, their lusts, their shortcomings or listen to this the big dreams God has told them, but afraid to share because of persecution and jealousy.
God said, Lysondra you can be trusted with the secrets not to gossip, or judge leaders, but to administer healing, hope and show them a better way. I'm developing patience in you to handle the enormous assignments that will take time, prayer and much encouragement. I ask you the same question, "Can you be trusted with Secrets"? As a leader the journey can become very lonely because of the assignment, the weight of it and the demand placed on pressing it through. Most times no one knows the mind challenges that go on just to remain sane and look the part of being alright. Many times on the inside there are temporary old bandages that smell horrific from the tainted blood and infections continuing to leak out due to repeated attacks, betrayals, abandonments, rejections, molestations and rapes (spiritually). As leaders most times we don't even know how to heal correctly. We slap a Band-Aid on and keep going trying to help and be strong for everyone else and yet dying on the inside. No one takes the time to hear the little child crying help me, I need to go potty, I need to release, can I trust you not to abandon me if what I release gets too messy and it takes a lot to clean it up and get me restored back?
I ask you the question "Can you Be trusted with Secrets" not to judge, but to go in your quiet time and pray? When your leader is left vulnerable and exposed because of the overwhelming pain will you lend a helping hand to clean them up, so when they are back in front of people they are not standing in fear that their private business is being aired all over the internet or airwaves?
God is absolutely blowing my mind working with little children although I was trying to teach college level students, God has me working in Early Childhood Education. I am learning so much about leadership right through how I treat, honor and respect these little ones. What assignment has God developed for you to complete. Never think it is a waste of time when God is all in it. You never know what BIG He has waiting for you to walk in. Just remember when God trust you to handle the secrets of leader's hearts , He's trusting you to cover and protect the minds and hearts of Nations.

Your TROUBLES bring out YOUR BEST!!!
Have you ever been in situations no matter what good you do, it is never good enough? Your good is turned to work against you? I mean you have done absolutely nothing but get in right alignment and you are even persecuted for your obedience? You cry out to God like LORD what's up? What have I done to cause such evil to come up against me... I mean you go all in making sure your heart is not filled with evil intentions. Purge me God, Purge Me!!! What have I done to bring this on, is it something in my bloodline, I know I sound just like King David. It became quiet for a moment, then a heard a still peaceful voice, Lysondra it is GOOD you was afflicted. Talk about an answer I didn't expect.
Psalms 119:71 (NIV) It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees, the Message bible says (textbook). Afflicted-verb (past tense) -cause pain or suffering to; affect or trouble. Afflicted is a past tense verb. I started to ponder on this word, why is it past tense? Then I was directed to Isaiah 53:4,5(NKJV) Surely He has borne our grief And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. Verse 5: But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. Was from the root word be gives an indication it has already existed, taken place and exists. In other words the actual process of the affliction (noun) was completed by Jesus. Everything you may experience along your journey may exist but it cannot overtake you because Jesus overcame all of the afflicted (past tense) troubles. You were already designed to win!
God reminded me, many are called but few have chosen to answer to the call. You Lysondra are one of my chosen and because you are I can trust you with trouble and you will not mishandle it or abandon it. Are you one of his chosen, then expect orchestrated trouble. The reason for the word afflicted being a past tense verb God reminded me in my current suffering and pain, Jesus already completed the process and I'm not going through anything that has not already been orchestrated by God himself. We say we want to be more like Jesus, we want to walk in the full authority , rights and privileges, but we don't want to submit to proper protocol and process. We want to claim the name but do not want to become as the NAME. Great people had to go through great process, suffer great persecution and was afflicted, TO LEAVE A GREAT NAME. Their troubles brought out their BEST!
Afflicted is a direct sign you are in GOOD standing with God. I know many will argue against this, but it is your trouble which pushes you to learn more of God's decrees, His statutes. Your TROUBLES bring out YOUR BEST! God had to remind me He has orchestrated my trouble along this journey, not to demean or belittle me, but to bring out the best, the great, the phenomenal. I just want to encourage you not to give up or give in. Not to throw away what you have worked so hard for. You are not a failure or a sign of bad news, your trouble is bringing out the best IN YOU!
David the King suffered great persecution from all walks of life just because he was preferred. It is something when you are not only anointed for something great but God prefers you, yes God prefers you. God knows exactly what it will take to ascend you higher. So we must learn not to become aggravated and disgusted with the trouble but renew our mind to understand God has predestined you for the trouble so He can shine HIS BEST THROUGH YOU. So the betrayal God says was good for you, the divorce was good for you, the multiple deaths of loved ones was good for you, the loss of income was good for you, being homeless, jobless was good for you. The rejection and abandonment from others was good for you. It is in the breaking in your trouble you will come to understand that All (good, bad and the ugly) things work together for good to those who love God , to those who are the called (answer to the call) according to HIS purpose.
Know you answering to the call has given you preferred status to be trusted with the was. God loves you , He is bragging on you and He is developing you into a flourishing masterpiece of patience so when you come out you are lacking nothing, for your TROUBLES BRING OUT YOUR BEST!

THIS PRAISE!!
Now let's talk for a moment on the situation where life is good, blessings all around you, your family, business and community are prospering, yet your surrounding environments (Moabites, Ammonites and Meunites) would like to disturb the good in your life. I mean you did absolutely nothing to cause this disruption but live in your inheritance from God, but there are those who choose to war against you because of your inheritance. As a matter of fact you showed mercy on them in hopes they would honor the God in you and not disturb the parameters of your blessings, but because of who you are and who you are linked to,causes a rage unto your enemies. What do you do when your inheritance of good disturbs your surroundings that once lived peaceably with you are now planning to wage war against you to take what rightfully belongs to you and your family? What do you say when jealous cantankerous individuals ,groups or armies come together to decide if "we all combine our forces we can overtake them and take away their inheritance".
Some of us would likely begin to draft up a strategic plan how you will combat against them. Some of us may pack our bags and leave realizing if you stay you may lose everything so cut your loses and disperse. Then there are those of us who go in head strung without weighing the full entire cost of our immediate actions. II Chronicles 20 King Jehoshaphat received news a vast army was on the way to wage war. The king inquired of the Lord and decreed for all of Judah to fast. What happens when the enemy comes to harass your Judah? Your Praise? Your inheritance? Your command? What do you do when your inheritance of praise disrupts kingdoms on the other side of the sea? What do you do when your praise is so attractive, so relevant , so glorious it draws your enemies out to take what you have, what is inherited to you by God?
We must do as King Jehoshaphat did , first we must inquire of the Lord.He even required Judah to fast. There are times in our lives when we need to totally surrender everything unto God including our praise which may be filled with distractions, visual discrepancies and exalted ideologies of mastered fallacies in which we have perceived to be the proper way to praise. In this season God will not require a human touch, but what God will require is an act of obedience to follow HIS PLAN. This Praise will cause a turnaround in your favor, this praise will cause the supernatural move of God to release victory in your favor. This praise will cause this battle to become sweat-less. This praise will cause God to send ambushes against your enemies. This praise will not only preserve your inheritance, your Judah, your praise, but this praise will give you granted access to collect the spoils to advance your inheritance. THIS PRAISE will let the surrounding kingdoms, territories know not to come against God's praise.
I don't know what your facing, there may still be some giants residing in your promise. There may still be opposing or controlling voices trying to block you or discourage you from your next greater but turn your face to God, release THIS PRAISE unto Him , for the battle THAT COMES TO WAGE WAR AGAINST YOUR PRAISE DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU , BUT TO THE LORD. THIS PRAISE will multiply your inheritance and cause GOD to make your name GREAT!
